Mets outfielder Jeff Francoeur wants out of New York
Mets outfielder Jeff Francoeur told the Mets front office that he would like to play or be traded so he can play everyday elsewhere. Francoeur hit .311 in 75 games after being traded to the Mets in 2009, but is only hitting .241 this season through nearly 350 at-bats.
The Mets may find a taker for the 26 year-old outfielder, but it won't come till the offseason. He may have one more arbitration year, and could become a non-tender candidate depending on how the rest of the season goes.

I used to like Frenchie . . .
. . . but where the HELL does a guy stinking up the batter’s box get off “Wanting out of NY??”
One of the things I likeD about him was his loyalty. Start hitting, Jeff, THEN you can whine about losing playing time.
where all former
Braves end up.
Atlanta Hawks=the team that drafted big $$$$$$$$$ instead of big men.
What a team player
Thats what I hear most about him “yeah he is in a slump but he is such a leader and a team player”.
I would think a team player could see him as the 4th outfielder helps the team the most so he shouldn’t have a problem with it, he is still getting paid.
Since the face been revealed the game got real
