Nationals agree to terms with pitcher A.J. Cole

The Nationals have come to terms with fourth round-pick A.J. Cole, a right-handed pitcher out of Oviedo, Florida. Cole is a lanky righty with a fastball clocked at 94 mph, a power slurve that sits around 77 mph, and a changeup that still needs improvement. 

Cole was thought to be a tough sign, which is why he fell to the fourth round. However, the Nats awarded him with a 2 million dollar deal, meaning the 18 year old prospect will see some time in the minors and could appear in some fall instructional league too. 

Overall, a solid signing for the Nationals who still haven't signed their first round pick, outfielder Bryce Harper.
