White Sox awarded claim on Manny Ramirez

The White Sox were awarded the claim on Dodgers outfielder Manny Ramirez, who should be on the South Side on Monday. Ramirez's exit from the Dodgers was very abrubt, with a ninth inning ejection after one pitch. 

It's a very aggressive move for Kenny Williams who believes Ramirez can help carry this lineup to the postseason. A change of scenery could not have come sooner. 

Ramirez enters a more hitters friendly park in the middle of a division race, carrying a .311 batting average with 8 home runs. 

It is a solid move for the White Sox, despite having to pay the remaining 4 million on his salary.
