As a Rays fan, I am upset to see Soriano go, I am upset to see him go to the Yankees, but in the end I can only hope that Mariano shows his age and Soriano has those previous injuries creep up.    The Yankees have spent more on Mo, Jeter, Soriano, and Feliciano than the Rays will probably spend in payroll for the 2011 season.  The Rays once again will be in the role of David to the Red Sox and Yankees Goliath.  One thing is for certain, the competition in the AL EAST is by far the best of any division in baseball.
