Blue Jays sign Jon Rauch

The Blue Jays added reliever Jon Rauch to the fold today by agreeing to a one year deal worth 3.5 million dollars with a 3.75 million dollar option for 2012. Rauch posted an impressive 3.12 ERA in 59 games with the Twins and struck out 46 to just 12 walks. 

The 32-year old right-hander will give the Blue Jays another solid arm in the bullpen, most likely in a middle relief role.
