The Blue Jays spun a quick deal and traded newly acquired catcher Mike Napoli to the Rangers for reliever Frank Francisco, according to FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal. Francisco posted a 3.76 ERA and a 6-4 record, and has posted a 3.57 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP over the past three seasons.
After nearly moving up to Canada, Napoli reemerges in the AL West with the rival Rangers. Napoli is only a .251 career hitter, but he has posted at least 20 home runs in each of the past three seasons and is a .292 career hitter in 89 at-bats in Texas.
The Rangers are now out on Vlad Guerrero, again, which could lead to the Angels possibly bringing back Vlad for another go round.
