There's a few storylines still trickling in, among them Scutar speculation, Hanley Ramirez position confirmation (or reaffirmation?), Royals making a few minor league deals, Orioles interviewing GM candidates, and some speculation on trading Arroyo coming out of the Reds camp:

• Why Marco Scutaro’s option is a no-brainer for the Red Sox - WEEI
  "The Sox have until two days after the conclusion of the World Series to exercise their option. If they were to decline it, then Scutaro would have two days to decide whether to exercise his player option. But it would be shocking if it got to that point."
• Hanley considered Marlins’ shortstop - The Fish Pond
  "The Marlins are looking to have Hanley Ramirez back in their starting lineup. The team isn’t looking to move him to another position. Speculation about a position change surfaced last week when new manager Ozzie Guillen suggested Ramirez could play somewhere other than shortstop."
• Seven signed to minor-league deals - KansasCity.com
  "The Royals announced new contracts Thursday to retain seven minor-league players, including three likely to gain consideration in coming weeks for protection on the club’s 40-man roster. The seven are left-handed pitchers Andrew Dobies and Edgar Osuna, right-handed pitcher Mario Santiago, catcher Cody Clark, infielders Irving Falu and John Whittleman, and outfielder Paolo Orlando."

• Orioles to interview John Stockstill on Friday - Baltimore Sun
  "The Orioles are interviewing their fourth candidate for their open top executive spot, and he is the first from within the organization. The club’s interviewing committee will meet Friday with John Stockstill, the Orioles’ player-development director."
• Trading Arroyo? - Red Reporter
  "The problem with moving Arroyo is that he's really not a payroll burden. The deferred money on his deal means he's only being paid $7 mil in '12 and $6.5 in '13. That's not chump change, but it's not like it's hamstringing the Reds. And if traded, the Reds would have to eat a significant salary salad to make it happen. He has $15 mil deferred on his deal, and I'd say the Reds would have to take responsibility for all of it, especially since that $15 mil deferment becomes an up-front bonus if he's traded."
