There have not been many updates for C.J. Wilson of late, but things seem to be picking up steam. Tim Dierkes from MLBTR is reporting via Twitter that agent Bob Garber told him that there are three meetings scheduled today for his client.
The meetings could be with one of the following teams: Miami Marlins, New York Yankees, Anaheim Angels, Washington Nationals, Colorado Rockies and Texas Rangers. He has reportedly met with one of the teams already listed here, but it is unclear which team it is.
Reports came out from from Jon Heyman of SI.com already that the Yankees feel the price is too high on Wilson and will wait it out. This indicates that they have likely already met with Garber and Wilson already.
More so, the Nationals have already met with him for about 45 minutes, according to Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post. So we can cross the Nats and Yankees off the list of teams he may meet with today, which leaves us with Miami, Anaheim, Colorado and Texas.
