The Colorado Rockies continue to wait for word from Michael Cuddyer before making the next move. Troy Renck reports that the team is looking at Carlos Beltran as outfielder plan B, as well as pitcher Joe Sanders. Both could come with Colorado's current financial flexibility, and both would address the club's most pressing needs: a middle-of-the-order bat and a veteran starter.
Renck also reports via twitter that the Rockies could also look to second basemen Jeff Keppinger or Ryan Theriot, and could be looking at closer Brad Lidge as well:
