Lots of Blue Jays news today, after they miss out on Yu Darvish last night. Here are some of the top rumors in Toronto.

  • Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca said that the Blue Jays need to find a way to rebound from not getting Darvish, as the fans face "staggering disappointment."
  • Jon Paul Morosi from FOX Sports writes that the Jays "must" find a number two starter, and says that they may have their radar on Gio Gonzalez. Matt Garza has also been a rumor.
  • Tom Dakers from Blue Bird Banter, SBNation's Toronto Blue Jays blog, recaps Alex Anthropolous' conversation with the media. He said that he would not confirm if he made a bid on Darvis.
  • Dakers also writes his own reactions to the Blue Jays losing out on Darvish. He says it is funny how everyone got so caught up in a player who does not have any MLB stats to show for it, yet everyone wanted him so bad...
