Pujols to Yankees
As much as it pains me to write this, I can only see one destination for Albert. NY. With the DH spot opening next year,Texiera would have to accept becoming the DH while Pujols takes over at 1st. There is no other team that can afford Albert,so you may see this happen by the July 31 deadline, depending on where the Cardinals are in the standings .It will be a sad day for Baseball, but I see no other outcome.

Not gonna happen.
Jeter, Arod, Posada. Three names that will be filling the DH spot quite often in the next couple years.

It Will Happen
The Steinbrenners will not be able to resist bringing the greatest player in the game to NY . They will worry about A-Rod and Jeter when the time comes. Can you imagine that lineup? Prince Albert will expect to play 1st and it will be written into his contract. Texiera will mouth all the right platitudes about how great Pujols is and what that NY uni means to him(Tex), and inside he will be seething.
I don't see it happening.
The Yankees have plenty of guys that can fill the DH spot and Tex is better defensively than Pujols.
For every action, there is a corresponding over-reaction.
Robert57 is not an Yankees Fan
The only way Pujols winds up in a Yankee uniform is if the Yankees have major career ending injuries in 2011, and insurance is paying out those contracts.
except
pujols has a no trade clause and already said would veto any trade…your yankees theory is nice but wont happen
Pujols takes out "I" in BIG and "A" in MAC, previously considered to be an unyielding, consonant threat
