Padres ace Matt Latos to start season on DL

Padres starting pitcher Matt Latos will start the season on the disabled list, according to FOXSports.com. The move will be backdated so he will be eligible to return for an April 6th game against the World Series Giants.
Latos went 14-10 last season with a 2.92 ERA last season, but will be replaced on what would have been his opening day debut for Tim Stauffer.
