- Jane Lee reporting via the Athletics that Dallas Braden's shoulder surgery was successful, but he'll miss the rest of the season.
- Rafael Soriano is being placed on DL, Chris Dickerson is recalled to the Yankees per Bryan Hoch.
- Andrew Cashner is in Chicago for an MRI on his shoulder, Doug Davis will meet team in Florida according to Carrie Muskat.
- Carrie is also reporting that the Cubs are are calling up Scott Maine and Marcus Mateo to Iowa.
- Could Brandon Snyder be promoted tonight for Baltimore? Jeff Zrebiec's sources think so, but both he and Patton's promotions dependent on Lee and Izturis' status.
