Phillies Sign Scott Podsednik to Minor League Deal

PrintAccording to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports (on twitter), the Phillies have signed OF Scott Podsednik to a Minor League Deal.
Following an injury that prevented Scott Podsednik from playing for most of Spring Training, Podsednik never got off on the right foot with the Blue Jays. He was released shortly after the season started.
The veteran outfielder looks to hook on with his 6th Major League team and although there is similar outfield depth at Triple-A, don't rule out the Phillies potentially calling up Podsednik if such a need arises.
