According to Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes, the Braves have signed Julio Lugo to a minor league deal. The infielder will earn 12K per month.
The infielder last appeared in the Majors with the Orioles. Before that, the Cardinals, Red Sox, and Rays. In his 11 year career, Lugo posts a .270/.334/.386 with just 80 home runs. While not seeing at least 300 at bats since 2007, he's maintained a near-zero average WAR over the same period, with 2005 being his last real effective season (3.8 WAR).
