Twins ace Francisco Liriano has fired a no-hitter versus the White Sox tonight in a 1-0 victory. It probably was not his best performance, as he only struck out two and walked six, but he did not surrender a single base hit which is especially impressive for the 27-year old left-hander. 

"I can't explain it. I feel so nervous and so happy right now," Liriano said. "I can't explain my feeling right now."

The game lasted a little over two hours, and even though Liriano threw a little over half his pitches for strikes, the balls that were put in play became quick outs.
