Ken Rosenthal is reporting that Albert Pujols will miss 4 to 6 weeks with a fractured wrist:

' Pujols out 4 to 6 weeks with small fracture in wrist.

Pujols was injured on a play at first base last night. Wilson Betemit hit a ground ball to the second baseman Pete Kozma who made a wide throw. Pujols reached out toward Betemit to catch the ball and his hand hit Betemit as he was running past the bag. He immediately dropped his glove and hopped around in obvious pain, grabbing his wrist.

Last night, an MRI did not show a fracture, but more tests were run today which did indeed show one.

Pujols had been performing much better recently after a poor start to the season and this is just the last in a string of injuries for the Cardinals. Matt Holliday, Adam Wainwright, David Freese, Allen Craig, Eduardo Sanchez and Nick Punto have all missed time this year, among many others.

No moves have been made official yet, but it is probable that Lance Berkman will take over at first base and Jon Jay will take his spot in right field.
