PrintAccording to the New Orleans Zephyrs (Marlins AAA affiliate) via Twitter, the Florida Marlins have signed infielder Jose Lopez to a minor-league contract. Lopez, who was traded from the Seattle Mariners to the Colorado Rockies in December in exchange for Chaz Roe, was released a couple days ago. He's hit .208/.233/.288 over the course of 129 plate appearances this season. Lopez will be assigned to AAA.

Although this guy got realesed i still really like his talent.
This guy was a cusp all star for his last couple seasons with the Mariners and really proved he can handle his own at the plate. Nice signing by the marlines adding another not to bad bat.
