Diamondbacks Release Aaron Heilman, Recall Barry Enright
According to Jack Magruder of FOX Sports Arizona, the Diamondbacks released RHP Aaron Heilman. Heilman, age 32, signed a one-year $2MM contract with Arizona this winter. In 32 appearances, he compiled a 6.88 ERA and gave up eight home runs.
RHP Barry Enright, who was sent down to Triple-A back in May after struggling, has been recalled. In twelve starts at Triple-A Reno, Enright tossed 71.1 innings with a 4.29 ERA. Enright, who starts today against the Milwaukee Brewers, will slide back into the Dbacks rotation, with Zach Duke headed to the bullpen.

Probably worth noting that Heilman's peripherals were actually pretty good.
Despite the ugly ERA, his SIERA sits at 3.18 and his xFIP is at 3.44. The real concern would obviously have to be all of the homers, and the drop in velocity with his fastball.
