- Britt Ghiroli from MLB.com says that the Baltimore Orioles are involved in at least three currently active trade talks around the MLB.
- Ghiroli also says that the Orioles top priority is relief pitching, but if they get Kyle McLellan they might use him in some starting capacity.
- Marc Topkin from the Tampa Bay Times says that the Tampa Bay Rays could look to trade Jeff Niemann for a catcher like Geovanny Soto or Kurt Suzuki.
