The Chicago Cubs have been one of the most captivating teams in baseball this off season, and just yesterday they snagged Padres first baseman Anthony Rizzo. Here are some more rumors following the team.

• Carrie Muskat from MLB.com says that GM Jed Hoyer is still on the look out for pitchers, and they are negotiating with relief pitcher Kerry Wood currently, who they want to re sign..
• John Sickels from Minor League Ball took a look at the top twenty prospects in the Cubs minor league system after Cashner is gone and Rizzo is now in place.
• Keith Law from ESPN gave the Cubs the edge in the trade for Anthony Rizzo, where they traded top prospect Andrew Cashner.
• Rob Neyer from Baseball Nation says that we can now cross Prince Fielder off of the Cubs list with Rizzo now slated as their first baseman.
