Colorado Rockies veteran slugger Michael Cuddyer is one of the Philadelphia Phillies potential options is their pursuit of outfielders this offseason, reports Corey Seidman of CSNPhilly.com:

This would make the Phillies and Rockies a fit as trade partners, but the pursuit of Cuddyer depends on what else GM Ruben Amaro Jr. has cooking.

Seidman notes that the Phillies were one of several teams to target Cuddyer last winter before he signed his three-year contract with the Rockies. The 33-year-old was limited to 101 games due to injury, but he hit .260/.317/.489 with 30 doubles and 16 home runs over 358 at-bats.

After trading away Hunter Pence and Shane Victorino this summer, the Phillies are left with several vacancies in the outfield. The team is reportedly in hot pursuit of a center fielder, focusing on Michael Bourn and B.J. Upton, but they could add multiple outfielders this offseason.

Philadelphia also has a need at third base, a position Cuddyer has played over the years. While he isn’t viewed as a good defender at the hot corner, his versatility could appeal to the Phillies.

Colorado would be seeking pitching in a trade, according to Seidman, who adds the Phillies have several young arms to offer, including Ethan Martin, Adam Morgan, Vance Worley and Tyler Cloyd.
