Cody Ross getting most of his serious interest from Phillies, Red Sox, Tigers and Mariners— JIM BOWDEN (@JimBowdenESPNxm) November 14, 2012
The Red Sox have made it clear that they’d like to retain Ross, and the 31-year-old has said he’d be open to re-signing with Boston. Ross reached a one-year, $3 million agreement with the Red Sox last winter and went on to post impressive numbers in 2012.
The Phillies are in need of at least one outfielder after trading away Shane Victorino and Hunter Pence last summer. Now that the Tigers have signed Torii Hunter it’s probably safe to assume that their out of the corner outfield market, while the Mariners are reportedly interested in adding some much needed offense this winter.
