Jake Roth-US PRESSWIRE

With the mega-trade involving Tampa Bay, signings by New York and rumors surrounding Philadelphia, we have some rumors from around the eastern divisions tonight.

* Wil Myers has plenty of holes to fill including his 140 strike outs in the minor leagues, said a scout to Buster Olney. Myers was acquired by the Rays this week for James Shields and Wade Davis.

* Olney also has stuff from friends of the newest Phillies infielder Michael Young, saying that he felt lied to repeatedly by the Texas Rangers.

* Before acquiring Young, the Phillies made a move for Asdrubal Cabrera of the Cleveland Indians according to Paul Hoynes of the Cleveland Plains Dealer. The deal would have included pitcher Vance Worley, who was instead traded to the Twins for Ben Revere.

* It looks like outfielder Ichiro Suzuki will more than likely be a member of the New York Yankees again in 2013, according to YES Network's Jack Curry. This comes after the Yankees signed third baseman Kevin Youkilis.

* In more news about the Phillies, Jayson Stark from ESPN says the potential deal of Alfonso Soriano to the Phils looks like a long shot at this point.
