The Angels have been aggressive this off-season, trading for Tommy Hanson, signing Joe Blanton and Ryan Madson and of course, wooing Josh Hamilton away from the Rangers. Now they have their sights on Rick Porcello.
The Angels have contacted the Tigers about a possible trade for starting pitcher Rick Porcello, according to Danny Knbler of CBSSports.com. Porcello is thought to be a potential trade candidate, along with fellow starter Drew Smyly, following the Tigers signing of Anibal Sanchez to a five year $80M deal. The Angels join the Pirates, Phillies, Twins and Padres as possible suitors for the Tigers righty.

The Angels have signed Joe Blanton and traded for Tommy Hanson already this offseason as they rebuild their rotation following the departure of Zack Greinke, Ervin Santana and Dan Haren. Porcello would join those newly acquired players, C.J Wilson and Jared Weaver to complete the Angels rotation.
