AL West Roundup: Winter Meetings Day 3

Greg Fiume

The Rangers got closer to signing 2012's two biggest free agents, the Mariners signed a veteran outfielder, and the Angels added two more pitchers.

The Los Angeles Angels and Seattle Mariners made moves Wednesday to bolster their rosters, while the Oakland Athletics remain dormant.

The Texas Rangers remain finalists for both of the offseason's biggest draws -- right-hander Zack Greinke and outfielder Josh Hamilton -- but the pair remains unsigned, keeping things in Nashville at a low simmer.

Without further ado, here’s a recap of Day 3 in the AL West.
