- The Seattle Mariners have outrighted left-handed pitcher Cesar Jimenez to Triple-A Tacoma, according to Greg Johns of MLB.com via twitter. This is yet another obstacle for Jimenez to overcome, with injuries causing considerable missed time over the past few years. The Mariners 40-man now stands at 37 as they head to Japan.
- The Chicago Cubs have announced that Andy Sonnanstine has been outrighted to Triple-A Iowa, per Carrie Muskat. The 40-man is now at 47.
