The Boston Red Sox have called up first baseman Lars Anderson, according to his agency @SFXBaseball:

Anderson, 24, hails from Oakland, California and was drafted in the 18th round of the 2006 MLB Amateur Draft (553rd overall). In 24 games, Anderson has a .175 / .292 / .200 career line, with 7 hits, 1 double, no home runs, 7 walks, 11 strike outs, and 0/0 stolen/caught stealing.
