If the Philadelphia Phillies decide to sell this summer, they would most likely try to move potential free agents such as left-hander Cole Hamels and center fielder Shane Victorino, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.

While Phillies general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. hinted at the idea of selling earlier this season, Philadelphia would likely have to be extremely out of it before they consider doing so. Rosenthal didn’t say that he expects the Phillies to sell, only that if they do they will first look to move potential free agents.

Victorino and Hamels fall under this category, as do outfielder Juan Pierre and infielder Ty Wigginton, whose 2013 option can be bought out for $500,000.

A major league source told Rosenthal that the big contracts of players such as Cliff Lee, Ryan Howard, Chase Utley and Roy Halladay all include the same no-trade language, which would make them harder to deal.

According to the major league source, Lee, Howard, Utley and Halladay must submit a list of eight teams each year to which they would be willing to accept a trade. The players are then able to block trades to the other 21 teams not listed.
