• Yankees Rumors: Nick Swisher, Melky Cabrera and Ben Sheets - Sherman says that there’s "pretty much zero possibility" the Yankees retain Swisher, who is a free agent following the season, if they hope to stick to their vow of remaining under the $189 million luxury tax threshold.
• Daisuke Matsuzaka Returns To Disabled List, Mauro Gomez Called Up - Over the Monster
  The Red Sox have sent Daisuke Matsuzaka back to the disabled list, calling up Mauro Gomez in his place.
• Red Sox Release Bobby Jenks - Over the Monster
  After one-and-a-half turbulent years with the franchise--and all of 15.2 innings pitched--the Red Sox have released reliever Bobby Jenks.
