The Los Angeles Dodgers have inquired on Seattle Mariners right-hander Brandon League, while the San Francisco Giants are still involved in discussions for the veteran closer, reports Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports:

#SFGiants are still involved on Brandon League as well.
The Dodgers, Giants, Chicago White Sox and "more than a handful of other clubs" have contacted the Mariners about League, according to Scott Miller of CBSSports.com.
Jason Churchill of ESPN reports the Mariners are getting closer to trading League and perhaps another arm. However, this other arm isn’t expected to be Jason Vargas, as Churchill says nothing is close with the left-hander at this point.
Last night Jerry Crasnick of ESPN reported that the Mariners were close to trading League, and Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle heard that acquiring team could be the Giants. The right-hander owns an ERA and WHIP of 3.05 and 1.44 on the season.
