The Pirates will have a ten-day window to find a taker for Sutton or they will likely lose him for nothing. The utility man has batted .254/.292/.393 in 130 plate appearances, but a team(s) interested would be willing to live with that given his defensive value.
The 29-year-old has played second base, both corner infield positions and both corner outfield positions this season alone. Any team looking for infield depth will be a suitor here and wouldn't need to give up anything of value.
