#MNTwins recall Chris Parmelee and outright RHP Jeff Gray
To make room for Parmelee on their roster, the Twins have outrighted right-hander Jeff Gray to Triple-A.
Parmelee, 24, has appeared in forty games for the Twins this season. Over 108 at-bats, he’s hit .204/.283/.324 with five doubles, one triple and two home runs. He made his major league debut last year and owns a career OPS of .786, mostly due to his short but productive stint with the club in 2011.
Over sixty-four games and 228 at-bats in Triple-A this year, Parmelee has hit at an impressive clip of .338/.457/.645 with seventeen doubles and seventeen home runs.
Gray appeared in forty-nine games for Minnesota this year. Over fifty-two innings, the 30-year-old maintained an ERA of 5.71 with 4.5 SO/9 and 3.8 BB/9.
