The Texas Rangers have placed catcher Yorvit Torrealba on release waivers and will hand him his unconditional release if he’s not claimed, reports T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com:
The Rangers have put catcher Yorvit Torrealba on release waivers. If he’s not claimed, he will be given his unconditional release. The Rangers were unable to trade him.
