Former MLB bad boy Milton Bradley is apparently into actual, real, off-the-field trouble.
Former MLB player Milton Bradley has been charged with 13 counts related to several alleged attacks on his estranged wife, according to TMZ.com:
Former Los Angeles Dodger Milton Bradley was charged today with 13 counts related to several alleged attacks on his estranged wife, and could get up to 13 years behind bars ... TMZ has learned.
The charges Bradley is facing stem from five different incidents, including four counts of spousal battery, four counts of criminal threats, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of vandalism and one count of dissuading a witness from making a report.
Bradley’s wife, Monique, filed a domestic violence report with police in November 2012, claiming the former MLB player tried to choke her with both hands after she asked him to stop smoking marijuana in front of their children.
Bradley was also arrested in August 2011 for allegedly attacking Monique with a bat, according to TMZ. In March 2012 he allegedly threatened her with a knife.
Bradley spent 12 seasons in the major leagues, playing for the Cleveland Indians, Oakland Athletics, Los Angeles Dodgers, Montreal Expos, Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, San Diego Padres and Chicago Cubs. He hit .271/.364/.440 over his career.
