The 34-year-old Australian righty agreed to a minor-league deal with Los Angeles on Wednesday.

After missing most of the last two seasons back and shoulder surgeries, Peter Moylan will be in Dodgers camp hoping to make the team out of the bullpen. Los Angeles agreed to a minor-league contract with the 34-year-old right-hander, including an invitation to spring training, reports Mark Bowman of MLB.com.

Moylan was cut loose by the Braves in November following two consecutive injury-filled campaigns.

When healthy, the Australian has proven to be a very useful reliever. Between 2009 and 2010, Moylan fired 136.2 innings for Atlanta, allowing 7.8 hits per nine innings and just 0.3 homers per nine. However, he does have a wild side; Moylan issued 4.7 walks per nine versus 7.4 strikeouts over the '09 and '10 campaigns.

Moylan is recovering from rotator cuff and labrum surgeries that allowed him to only pitch 13.1 innings between 2011 and 2012, with just five of those innings coming in the last year. In his short stint last season, he picked up a pair of strikeouts and walked two while allowing three runs on three hits.
