The Cincinnati Reds have avoided arbitration with reliever Logan Ondrusek, agreeing to a two-year deal with the right-hander, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports:

Ondrusek, 27, has been a mainstay in the Reds' bullpen the last three seasons. Despite an escalating walk rate and somewhat concerning propensity for the long ball, the right-hander has been remarkably consistant in his three-year tenure with the club.

Ondrusek owns a 3.45 ERA and 6.1 K/9 rate in 174⅔ big-league innings since breaking into the show in 2010, averaging 58 innings of work a year. The right-hander started his career as a low-leverage reliever, but has been used in more and more late-innings situations the last two years, his average leverage index jumping from .864 to 1.419.

A Super-Two eligible player, Ondrusek will take part in the arbitration process two more times (because this deal is two years) before hitting free agency following the 2016 season.
