Cleveland has agreed to one-year deals with two of their arb-eligible players as the Friday deadline approaches.

Stubbs, 28, is coming off a very disappointing 2012 season and looking to rebound with a new club. After three fairly successful seasons with Cincinnati, the center fielder hit just .213/.277/.333 with 14 home runs in 136 games for the Reds last year, coming in at just under replacement level (-0.2 bWAR).
Marson, 26, is entering his fifth season with the Tribe and has a good shot at taking on back-up catching duty once again this season. The right-handed hitter appeared in 70 games behind the plate for Cleveland in 2012, hitting .226/.348/.287 with no home runs while throwing out just 14 percent of would-be base stealers.
