On Saturday, Dodgers 2013 rookie sensation Yaisel Puig was arrested for reckless driving after he was caught driving 110 mph in a 70 mph zone on Interstate 75 in Florida, according to the Naples Daily News. The Dodgers expressed disappointment with their young star in their response-
"We have spoken to Yasiel and made it clear that we, as an organization, are very disappointed in his recent behavior. This is a very serious issue to us and we will continue to educate him and strive to further develop his growth off the field and as a member of this community."
The incident is the second arrest for reckless driving for the young Cuban star. Puig was arrested in Tennessee on April 28 after getting caught speeding and driving without insurance.
In the wake of this second incident, Dodgers GM Ned Coletti reminded him about his responsibilities, reports Bill Plaschke of the Los Angeles Times.
"I talked to him on the phone and I told him, we want you to have a fulfilling life, but you've got to understand that boundaries exist...[snip]...Like it or not, a lot of young people look up to him, and I asked him, what kind of message are you sending them with this?"
Plaschke himself is more troubled by the implications of Puig's continued recklessness-
"The message should be more clear to the Dodgers themselves. If something doesn't change, their future cornerstone is literally an accident waiting to happen."
Angels MLB.com beat writer Alden Gonzalez, expressed shock via twitter upon hearing about the incident-

Since Puig's arrest record was the only thing damaged by his recklessness, most of the immediate responses were of a less serious nature than those of the Dodgers and Plaschke.

Kieth Law of EPSN makes a fairly straight-forward suggestion to solve Puig's speeding issues-
How about we just, I don't know, revoke Puig's license? http://t.co/soyP26qyU4
