MLB Trade Rumors: Nolasco a hot commodity

Marlins pitcher Ricky Nolasco is a hot commodity for contending teams that lack pitching. There is feeling around the industry that he will be the first major piece to be traded in this years trade frenzy. He is currently being persuaded by multiple teams including the Giants, Dodgers and Padres.

Nolasco is pitching pretty well this season and owns a 3.68 era well below his career era of 4.43. He does have a 4-7 win loss record but that is due to the horrible Marlins offense who have scored an MLB low of 205 runs this season.

He might be the best pitcher available for trade this summer considering the fact that the asking price for Phillies pitcher Cliff Lee is supremely high.

More to come as the situation develops.
