The White Sox traded Brandon McCarthy and David Paisano to the Rangers for John Danks, Nick Masset and Jacob Rasner. McCarthy was 4-7 with a 4.68 ERA with the White Sox last year. The White Sox acquire Nick Masset who pitched in 8 games with a 4.15 ERA and 4 K. John Danks went 9-9 with a 4.24 ERA in Double and Triple A this season, but has not pitched in the Majors. Jacob Rasner went 6-16 with a 5.41 ERA and 117 K. This is the second trade Kenny Williams has pulled off involving his pitching staff.
