Red Sox outfielder Manny Ramirez arrived at Red Sox camp early this morning and participated in hitting against Daisuke Matsuzaka, and some minor base running drills. He was expected to arrive March 1 because of an illness to his family. Ramirez, who hit .321 with 35 HR and 102 RBI, is expected to be ready for Opening Day after suffering a knee injury at the end of the season.
