Dodgers Pursuing Dunn

ESPN.com's Jason Stark is reporting that the Dodgers have entered the mix for free agent outfielder Adam Dunn. Dunn, who has hit 40 homeruns for four seasons in a row, would give the Dodgers the power bat they need. The Dodgers finished fourteenth in the league in homeruns last season, even after Manny Ramirez joined their squad. Contacting Dunn could be a way to speed up the process with Manny Ramirez, but signing Dunn might leave them more money to pursue other options as well.

The Cubs are believed to be Dunn's first choice, but the Cubs have yet to get serious with Dunn. The Mariners, Orioles, and Nationals are also interested.
