According to Newsday, Manny Ramirez is upset with the lack of offers and is threatening retirement. It is hard for the Ramirez team to use this as leverage, mostly because he has become a one-dimensional player, but we'll see what happens. The Dodgers are reportedly the only team interested in signing Manny, and will probably wait until Christmas to offer him a contract.
A two year deal worth 25-30 million dollars is probably what they will settle on.
