Team USA was eliminated by Team Japan in the semi's of the WBC. While the announcers made excuses for Team USA when they were down, it is becoming more apparent that Team USA is not the best team in the world. Until the US wants to make an official roster and keep these players playing together from time-to-time during the year, we won't put together a serious showing in the WBC.
It is possible Team USA will have a new manager next time around.
