The Astros released a list of ten potential candidates for manager today, including former Astros manager Phil Garner. The list also includes former MLB managers Manny Acta, Ned Yost, and Bob Melvin. From there, the Astros were granted permission to interview current Red Sox coaches Brad Mills and Tim Bogar, along with current Phillies bench coach Pete Mackanin after the postseason.
Interim manager Dave Clark will be the first to be interviewed for the position, followed by minor league coordinator Al Pedrique.
San Diego hitting coach Randy Ready will also be interviewed.
