The Baltimore Sun is reporting that if Erik Bedard is healthy, the Orioles would be interested in bringing him back to Baltimore.
Bedard is expected to be out till April recovering from surgery, but put up pretty good numbers in 16 starts for the Mariners last season.
Bedard is probably looking at a one year deal, meaning he will have several options, as long as there are no setbacks.
The Mets, Phillies, and Cubs have all had past interest in Bedard, but if the Orioles were able to land him, he would create some buzz in Baltimore with young pitchers Brian Matusz and Chris Tillman in 2010, who the Orioles acquired in the Bedard trade.
