The Rangers and Rich Harden have agreed to a one year deal worth 7.5 million dollars, according to NBCSports.com.
Harden went 9-9 with a 4.09 ERA and 171 strike outs. Harden has a reputation of being injury-prone, but his strike out numbers and impressive advanced stats make him a solid pick up following the trade of Kevin Millwood to Baltimore.
Harden, 28, also has an 11.5 million dollar club option, likely filled with performance incentives if he can stay healthy and reach certain numbers throughout the season.
