The LA Times is reporting that the Dodgers are in talks with general manager Ned Colletti about a long-term contract extension. Colletti has done a good job since joining the Dodgers, reaching the postseason three of four times. While
Colletti has had his share of blunders, including the acquisitions of Jason Schmidt and Andruw Jones, but has made up for it with the acquisitions of Manny Ramirez, Casey Blake, and George Sherrill, among others.
Jon Heyman of SI.com heard from a source that said the deal is believed to be a three-year extension.
