Two teams emerge for Miguel Tejada

The Baltimore Sun is reporting that the Orioles, in their pursuit of a starting third baseman, may approach free agent Miguel Tejada. Tejada is also drawing serious interest from the Athletics, according to FOX SPORTS, while the Giants and Twins have him on the back burner.

Tejada hit .313 with 14 home runs in 158 games last season, all at shortstop. In fact, Tejada has never played anything but shortstop in his entire career. But evaluators believe that Tejada's hard working nature and attitude could make a transition to the hot corner possible.

The Orioles are also considering Joe Crede for third base, and the A's could bring him in as a shortstop considering they just acquired third baseman Kevin Kouzmanoff from the Padres
